The aim of the present article is to show the usefulness of corpus observation for the detection and analysis of the phenomenon of terminological variation in the context of a specialised FR-IT translation course. To this end, we will use two comparable corpora composed of texts in the field of sustainable construction and analyse examples of variation of some of the terms examined, in order to arrive at remarks relevant to translation.
