In the CEFR, vocabulary knowledge for the B2 level is described as follows: «lexical accuracy is generally high, though some confusion and incorrect word choice does occur». The analysis will focus on these “incorrect words” or, more precisely, on the false analogies featured in written production by italophone learners of French. Starting from a corpus of 170 texts, a classification of such errors will be provided, with a view to putting forward a useful linguistic explication for FFL teachers.
