The contemporary evolution of our legal systems is part of a global framework marked and characterized by growing social, cultural and institutional complexity, in which geopolitical transformations are intertwined with the processes of globalization, human mobility and regulatory pluralism. In this context, law can no longer be understood as a closed and self-sufficient system but must be considered as a dynamic structure called upon to deal with the multiplicity of legal systems, values and various belongings.
