OSSERVAZIONI SU CATTURE DI LEPIOOTTERI IN AGRO DI POLIGNANO (BARI)

Abstract

ON Lepidoptera COLLECTED IN POLIGNANO (BARI)

Authors talk about Macrolepidoptera collected by a light-trap from September 1977 to December 1979 in Polignano (Apulia, South ltaly).

209 species of the following Families have been collected: Nolidae (l), Lymantriidae (3), Arctiidae (6), Ctenuchidae (1), Thaumetopoeidae (1), Sphingidae (6), Drepanidae (1), Saturniidae (1), Lasiocampidae (5), Dilobidae (1), Psychidae (1), Cossidae (3), Noctuidae (125), Geometridae (53).

For each species the period of capture and the sex ratio are reported. The data on host-plants have been taken directly into the field or from the biblyography.

The most important species of agricoltural interest are pointed out, as Hyphantria cunea Drury (the first record in ltaly), Euxoa temera Hb., Noctua pronuba L., Peridroma saucia Hb., Gortyna xanthenes Germ., Autographa gamma L.

The most important species of faunistic interest are also mentioned: Noctua orbona

Hfn., Brythis encausta Hb., Lithophane lapidea Hb., Agrochola lota Cl., Trachea atriplicis L., Pseudozarba bipartita H .-S., Polymixis serpentina Tr., Zebeeba falsalis H .-S. and Abraxas grossulariata L.

Gli Autori riferiscono sui dati riguardanti i Macrolepidotteri catturati con una trappola luminosa in agro di Polignano a Mare (Bari), rilevati dal settembre 1977 al dicembre 1979. Sono state individuate 209 specie delle seguenti famiglie: Nolidae (1), Lymantriidae (3), Arctiidae (6), Ctenuchidae (1), Thaumetopoeidae (1), Sphingidae (6), Drepanidae (1), Satur- niidae (1), Lasiocampidae (5), Dilobidae (1), Psychidae (2), Cossidae (3), Noctuidae (125), Geometridae (53).
Delle singole specie vengono riportate le catture, la sex ratio e le colture maggiormente attaccate.
Vengono discussi i dati quantitativi e qualitativi delle catture globali, correlandoli con i fattori bio-etologici e climatico-ambientali.
Sono poste in rilievo le specie di maggiore interesse agrario: Hyphantria cunea Drury (-prima segnalazione per l'Italia), Euxoa temera Hb., Noctua pronuba L., Peridroma saucia Hb., Gortyna xanthenes Germ., Autographa gamma L.
