Osservazioni anatomiche sui genitali interni maschili in alcuni Ptilidi (Coleoptera)

Abstract

The following data were gathered out from the examination of eigh species that commonly occur in Southern Italy (see table on page 115): shape and length of spermatozoa, numer of deferents withis the examined species. Because this feature corresponds to a poorly modified sperm structure, sperm deviating form are supposed as deriving from the reduction the testis mass.
