Agathidium della Malacca, con descrizione di 13 specie nuove (Coleoptera: Leiodidae: Agathidiini)

Abstract

AGATHIDIUM FROM MALAYA, WITH DESCRIPTIONS OF 13 NEW SPECIES (COLEOPTERA: LEIODIDAE: AGATHIDIINI)

Descriptive and/or collecting data are presented for 20 species of Agathidium from Malaya, based on 360 specimens found by researchers of the Geneva, Stuttgart and Vienna Museums.

New descriptions: Agathidium (s.str.) kualalumpurense n.sp., A. (Microceble) schuhi n.sp., A. (Microceble) exaratum n.sp., A. (Microceble) ebeninum n.sp., A. (Microceble) simum n.sp., A. (Microceble) gentingense n.sp., A. (Macroceble) cameronicum n.sp., A. (Macroceble) aterrimum n.sp., A. (Macroceble) distinctum n.sp., A. (Macroceble) austerum n.sp., A. (Macroceble) amoe- num n.sp., A. (Macroceble) selangoricum n.sp., A. (Macroceble) calamei n.sp.

A catalogue of the Agathidium known from Malaya is presented together with a numerical table of the some taxonomic characters and a general morphological table of the male copulatory organ and spermatheca in every species. The key to species is reported also in English.
