Abstract

SOME CONSIDERATIONS ON THE GENUS Conistra HB. AND ITS SUBGENUS Dasycampa GN., WITH THE DESCRIPTION OF A NEW SPECIES: Conistra camastra N. SP. FROM SOUTH-ITALY (Lepidoptera - Noctuidae)

Conistra camastra, a new species so far mi6taken for Conistra veronicae Hb., is described on the basis of some specimens collected in South-ltaly, during the researches carried out in Apulia and Basilicata by the lnstitut of Entomology - University of Bari.

The Autor takes into account the systematics of the Genus Conistra Hb. and its Subgenus Dasycampa Gn.

Females genitalia morphology of ali known european species of this Genus is reported for a better identification of this species.
